Quick Haul D8 - A reliable and fun everyday bike
The Quick Haul D8 combines serious cargo potential (150 kg load capacity) with outstanding handling characteristics - the bike is stable and shows great handling agility. We emphasize the benefits of Bosch assistance, emphasizing the ideal behavior of the Active Line Plus engine in the context of urban use. This Tern Quick Haul D8 electric cargo bike is equipped with the Atlas Q luggage rack, which is integral with the frame and can support up to 50 kg of load. Compatible accessories allow you to dress this rack according to your needs. In particular, you can build a real little cocoon for your young passenger, with a baby carrier and the Storm Shield Mini rain tent for rainy days. You can also transform the rack into a cargo platform with the Shortbed Tray support, and add XXL panniers.
Quick Haul D8 - A longtail powered by Bosch Active Line Plus
The Quick Haul D8 ride is comfortable, responsive and predictable. The use of the small 20-inch wheels (Tern's signature) provides great maneuverability. The elongated/compact frame promotes stability, thanks to a design that lowers the bike's center of gravity. The medium step-over height (49 cm) makes it easier when it comes time to get on the bike or get off the ground. The seatpost can be adjusted in height, to suit all sizes. The cockpit adjusts the same way, thanks to the Speedlifter stem.
Tern chooses the Bosch Active Line Plus motor, for its super harmonious and natural behavior. The assistance is effective and well calibrated for easy or relatively hilly routes. In Turbo mode, the motor produces 50 Nm of torque and develops the rider's power by more than 270%! You control the assist modes from the Purion console, which also manages the lighting system. The PowerPack battery has a capacity of 400 Wh.
Quick Haul D8 - Indoor storage facilities
Like the HSD or GSD, this Tern Quick Haul D8 electric cargo bike has a special ability: upright storage. It is positioned upright, resting on the rear luggage rack, its structure forming 4 very stable feet. Thus, the bike takes up little space indoors, which is ideal in urban areas where secure parking is sometimes rare.
The components are above all chosen for their reliability, such as the Shimano disc brakes (hydraulic operation) and the Altus derailleur (8 speeds). The choice of Schwalbe Big Apple tires makes it possible to dispense with a front suspension. These wide, high-volume tires react on the road like a natural shock absorber.
Tern Quick Haul vs HSD - The differences between these compact bikes
If you're looking for a longtail or a compact bike, you may have compared the Tern Quick Haul with the Tern HSD , wondering what could explain the price difference. First of all, the loading capacity differs. The Quick Haul is lighter but can support lower loads than the HSD (150 kg rider weight included for the Quick Haul against 170 kg for the HSD).
Then, you will find some differences in terms of equipment. No suspension fork on the Quick Haul unlike its bigger brother. Travel is made easier and the bulk is further reduced on the HSD versus the Quick Haul, thanks to the foldable stem with the "flatfold" system, very practical for mounting it in a cramped lift.
Finally, on the driving side, the geometry of the Quick Haul is closer to that of a traditional trekking-type bicycle, unlike that of the HSD, which induces a more pronounced straight back position.

How Do I Return my Order or Get a Refund
If you are not happy with your item for any reason just contact us and we´ll provide a solution. Customer satisfaction is our number one priority so you may receive a full refund.
If you are unhappy with your order, we encourage you to contact us directly so that we may resolve your issue.
However, we will not be able to refunds any payment after 14 days after ordered.
Refunds Policy
To obtain a full refund, within 14 days of receiving the item you must inform us that you will return the goods in an “as new” condition.
How to do this is detailed below.
Lifty Electric Vehicles defines “as new” condition as unridden, with all parts, manuals, and accessories included in the original box and packaging.
Returned items will be checked by one of our specialists to ensure they meet the criteria set out in this returns policy.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned item, using the same method of payment used for the original purchase.
We may refuse a refund should your product be returned not in an “as new” condition. Credit & debit card refunds must be made to the card used for the original purchase.
Please be aware that direct refunds can take up to five business days to appear in your bank account depending on whom you bank with.
We are unable to offer any refund without a valid receipt.

Processing Time
We try to process all orders placed on our website within 1 to 2 business days. Orders placed within Monday - Friday (9 am - 1 pm) will start processing on the same day. Orders made after this cut-off time will start processing the next business day. There are no orders being processed or shipped during weekends.
Pre-Orders
Pre-orders are advance purchases made on products that are scheduled to be shipped at a future date. They are a great way to guarantee that an item will not be sold out upon arrival at our warehouse. Each item available for pre-order will have its own estimated shipping date (usually detailed on the product page).
The advantage of pre-ordering is that you can guarantee the item you want without risking that it runs out as soon as it is available in our warehouse. Requests for certain products can be multiple. For this reason, availability can run out even before the item is physically in stock.
How long will it take to ship out my pre-order?
Waiting times vary from article to article. Once that the item is available in our warehouse, your order will be dispatched within two working days.
Please keep in mind that if you placed an order containing a pre-order item, the entire order will be on hold and dispatched at once.
When does a delay occur and why?
In some rare cases, there may be delays caused by events outside of our control. In the unlikely event of a delay, our Customer Support Team will get in contact with you as soon as possible.
Can I cancel a pre-order item?
No, it is unfortunately not possible to cancel your pre-order under regular circumstances.
This is because upon pre-ordering, we create a special reservation for you with one of our suppliers or manufacturing partners. Once the reservation has been made, it can generally not be cancelled by us.
