LIMITED PRODUCT WARRANTY

Lifty Electrics guarantees that your electric scooter or e-bike is free from material and workmanship defects under normal use during the warranty period. The specific duration of this warranty is outlined in the product specifications. However, we do not exclude or limit the minimum legal warranty required by applicable law. Please note that Lifty Electrics cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the product.

WARRANTY REMEDIES

If a manufacturing defect is found within the warranty period, we will take one of the following actions at our discretion:

Repair the product using new or refurbished parts.

Replace the product with a new or refurbished unit.

Offer a refund, excluding potential shipping costs.

We always aim to repair before replacing. Replacement parts may be original or third-party but will match the original specifications. Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by law. Any replacement product or parts will inherit the original warranty period or a 30-day extension, whichever is longer.

HOW TO CLAIM WARRANTY SERVICE

To request service, you must provide proof of purchase and the warranty card with the product’s serial number.

UK Customers: Parts-Only Warranty

For customers in the UK, we provide aparts-only warranty. You must identify the faulty component, and we will ship the replacement part. You are responsible for repairs or taking the product to a local service provider. We do not cover service center costs. Due to post-Brexit customs charges, returning items between the UK and Ireland is impractical. Make sure you have repair resources available before purchasing from the UK.

RETURN POLICY

Lifty Electrics accepts returns only for products purchased directly from us. Returns require a return order number, which can be obtained by contacting our support team at hello@lifty.co Return shipping costs may be deducted from your refund if the product is found to be functioning properly upon inspection. Products in the following conditions will not be eligible for return:

Items not purchased from Lifty Electrics

Products with missing or altered serial numbers

Physically damaged products

Products tampered with, modified, or altered in any way

FREE COLLECT & RETURN PERIOD

For 14 days from the delivery date, we offer free collection and return for repairs. This applies to both warranty and non-warranty issues. We get that needing a repair so soon isn’t ideal, so we’ve got your back. After this period, you can use our nationwide repair service for €30.

UK Customers: Unfortunately, due to post-Brexit customs complications, free collection and return is not available in the UK.

SPURIOUS WARRANTY CLAIMS

A claim isspuriousif no defect is found or if the issue is caused by incorrect assembly or misuse. In such cases, all costs, including transport and inspection, areborne by the customer.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS & EXCLUSIONS

The battery is covered for 1 year or 7,000 km, whichever comes first. The following wear-and-tear components are not covered:

Tyres, inner tubes, rubber foot pads, handlebar grips

Brake cables, brake pads, brake discs, brake levers

Paint, rubber bungs, wheel bearings, missing parts

Mudguards, snapped bolts, mechanical damage

Accidental or intentional damage

Damage caused by crashes, misuse, modifications, or improper storage voids the warranty entirely. Any customizations or third-party modifications also void the warranty.

WATER INGRESS POLICY

Most electric scooters and e-bikes are not waterproof. If water damage occurs, the warranty is void. Please check the manufacturer’s IP rating to ensure safe use in wet conditions.

For added protection, we offer an optional water protection.

€99 for 1 year

€159 for 2 years

This must be purchased at the time of sale and cannot be added later. If you have water damage coverage, repairs will be carried out free of charge. However, water damage does not entitle you to a product replacement.

FIRMWARE MODIFICATIONS

Any non-stock firmware modifications void the warranty and may create fire hazards due to melted wiring.

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Owners must regularly check and maintain:

Brakes, folding mechanisms, and adjustable parts

Bolts, nuts, and tyre pressure

REPAIRS & SERVICING POLICY

Warranty repairs must be carried out by Lifty Electrics or pre-authorized service partners. Unauthorized repairs void the warranty. We reserve the right to make case-by-case exceptions.

SERVICE & REPAIR WARRANTY

We stand by our repairs! We use manufacturer-original or high-quality replacement parts when needed.

First 30 days: Full parts & labor coverage.

Day 31 - 365: Free replacement part, but labor costs apply.

Exclusions: Wear-and-tear components listed above are not covered.

Repairs due to water damage are not covered. If a product is water-damaged, further failures may occur over time.
