Dualtron Ultra 2, the queen of off-road electric scooters
We all remember the legendary Dualtron Ultra, Dualtron’s first off-road type electric scooter; a monster capable of climbing slopes of 60-70% at incredible speeds. The Ultra was and still is the rider’s best ally for mountains and forest trips.
Dualtron teams worked hard on a new version of the Ultra, Ultra 2, to bring back the off-road champion to the field with even greater performance, even higher stability and many exciting new features.
Dualtron Ultra 2 has the same 11 inches off-road type tires as the first Ultra. The tires are very wide, high quality, and ready to take on any type of terrain.
Regarding to the design of the scooter, a very similar design was kept compared to the first Ultra while adding some comfort and security elements like:
- A rear stepping platform (very useful in acceleration phases)
- Extra LED lights on different parts of the chassis to make the rider more visible and safer during the night.
- Foldable handle for a more practical storage and transport process of the electric scooter.
- A powerful horn.
- A very powerful headlight.
- Turning signals.
- The new EY4 ultra-wide and colourful display.
- 85mm wider handlebars to reduce driving tiredness.
- Improved folding system for better steering tube stability.
Performance of the Dualtron Ultra 2
The Dualtron Ultra 2 New Edition is an exceptional electric scooter that offers outstanding technical specifications. It comes in two versions, Lite and Super, each designed to cater to different rider preferences.
Both versions feature powerful 1800W x 2 (nominal) motors, delivering exceptional power and performance. The key differences lie in the battery, range, and charging time.
The Lite version is equipped with a 72V 32 Ah LG battery, offering an impressive range of up to 100 km on a single charge. It takes approximately 18 hours to fully charge, with the option for a faster 6-hour and 30-minute charge using a 5A charger. On the other hand, the Super version boasts a larger 72V 40 Ah LG battery, extending the range to up to 125 km. The charging time for the Super version is around 23 hours, with an option for an 8-hour charge using a 5A charger.
Regardless of the version, the Dualtron Ultra 2 New Edition maintains its exceptional build quality and features. With a weight of approximately 46 kg and a maximum load capacity of 150 kg, the scooter is robust and suitable for a wide range of riders.
Characteristics of the Dualtron Ultra 2
The Dualtron Ultra 2 is equipped with front and rear suspensions, ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride even on challenging terrains. The scooter features front and rear hydraulic disc brakes along with electric assistance, providing reliable and efficient braking performance.
The 11″ ultra-wide off-road wheels with inner tubes offer excellent traction and stability. When unfolded, the scooter measures 1260 x 685 x 1300 mm, and when folded, it reduces to 1260 x 685 x 750 mm, allowing for convenient storage and transportation.
The Dualtron Ultra 2 comes equipped with a 30W headlight, stop lights, turning signals, horn, and an EY4 display with BT connectivity. Additionally, the scooter can be controlled and monitored through a mobile app available on iOS and Android devices.
Please note that the folding system of the Ultra 2 was greatly improved : The higher folding clamp and a larger range of motion for the upper and lower hinges greatly improves the riding stability and helps drastically reduce the steering tube horizontal movement.
2 YEAR WARRANTY
However, a word of caution– this product is not suitable for use in wet climates. If you reside in an area prone to rain, we recommend exploring our range of waterproof electric scooters or adding optional rain or waterproofing protection available for purchase.
All our scooters come with 2 Year Warranty ( 12 months on electric parts ) for full peace of mind. After your warranty expires, you can make use of our Service Program: Parts and Labor are available.
