The Dualtron Thunder II 2024 New Display manufacturer claimed maximum range is a staggering 140km. At Lifty Scooters we tend to recommend that the achievable range under real-world driving conditions is more like 50% of the manufacturer's max, in this case its 70km on a single charge. However, our tested maximum range on this magnificent electric scooter is a groundbreaking 96km. This is delivered by a 72V 40Ah SAMSUNG 21700 battery which is rechargeable from flat in 28 hours using the standard charger or in a fraction of that time using fast chargers (optional extra).

The Dualtron Thunder II has hydraulic brakes front and rear, accompanied by extremely large 160mm brake discs. With one of the safest braking systems on the market, the Dualtron Thunder also boasts an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) which prevents the brakes from fully locking up or sending the scooter into a skid, an incredibly important feature for a scooter so powerful.

11 inch tyres, with a 10 centimetre wide contact area provide great grip for on-road paved surfaces, preventing any wobble or skidding when driven moderately hard. Alongside the customisable and adjustable rubber cartridge suspension, this means an incredibly comfortable riding experience on any terrain.

NOTE: Electric scooters other than the LOCO Motion Pro (which is fully waterproof) are supplied by the manufacturers as IP54 or light splash-proof and not fully waterproof. As such, the limited product warranty does not cover any potential water damage. At LOCO we offer an additional warranty cover for water damage for as little as €49, and we strongly recommend that you add this when purchasing an electric scooter. This gives you the peace of mind that if you ever end up with water damage to your scooter, any potentially expensive repairs will be free. Without this water damage cover, any water damage will render the entire product warranty void.
